Hello! We are Nelson Street Church, we are a group of Christians living in and around Rochdale! We have a building just behind Rochdale Bus Station in the town centre with lots of things going on, to find out more take a look around our website or check out our SOCIAL MEDIA
We also have activities running in Syke, either out on the common, going door to door or borrowing the TS Frobisher II building on Greenbank Road from the wonderful Rochdale Sea Cadets.
COFFEE & TEA
Every Monday (during term time) we have FREE tea and coffee available at the Sea Cadets building (on Greenbank Rd) from 8.45-9.45am.
You’re welcome to pop in and get a takeaway brew or stay and chat. We have a fancy filter coffee machine, decaf is available, and there’s normal tea and herbal tea too.
It’s an opportunity to meet others in the community, to have a much needed brew after the school run, to grab a cuppa to take on your dog walk or to sit and chat.

MEET & EAT
On the first Sunday of the month at 5pm we have a meal, a short talk, activities and a chance to discuss life and faith and to ask for prayer. You are welcome to join us! No matter your age or whether you would say you have faith, have questions or would just like to make friends in your community. It’s free.
If you would like to come along, please click on the date and sign up so we know how much food to make:
PRAYER
Each week we choose a street (or two) and pray for everyone that lives there! You may have had us knock on your door and ask if you have any prayer requests. If you would like us to pray for you, please email:
syke@nelsonstreetchurch.org and we will be in touch!
OTHER EVENTS
Throughout the year you might see us out and about on Halloween (handing out glow sticks and chocolate and Christmas invitations, at Carols on the Common (which we’ve held for the last 2 years on the Common between the shop and the pub) or popping a card through your door to wish you a Happy Valentines Day.
